Kaizen Davao is looking for an OPERATIONS/ RESTAURANT MANAGER who aims and achieves EFFICIENCY at its finest!
Job Description following Duties and Responsibilities:
*Manage and oversee the entire restaurants operation. Daily rounds to all locations.
*Deliver superior guest services ensuring guest satisfaction.
*Plan and develop guest loyalty programs and work with marketing department.
*Plan new and update existing menu.
*Plan and develop the overall restaurant marketing strategy.
*Participate at local food events, catering events and corporate events.
*Respond efficiently to customer questions and complaints online and actual dining.
*Organize and supervise shifts hitting a lower labor cost efficient and effectiveness.
*Manage and lead all front of the house team members.
*Assist in hiring new employees.
*Train and evaluate staff performance preferably quarterly and yearly evaluation.
*Estimate consumption, forecast requirements and maintain inventory.
*Must be very focused with food and labor cost at all times.
*Manage restaurant supplies and equipment.
*Control all costs and minimize waste.
*Nurture a positive working environment is very important.
*Monitor daily operations and initiate corrective actions.
*Implement innovative strategies to improve productivity and sales.
*Hit monthly and yearly sales targets.
*Must have a strong restaurant background and experience.
Operations Manager Qualifications:
*Bachelor’s degree in operations management or related field.
*Experience in management, operations, and leadership.
*Understanding of general finance and budgeting, including profit and loss, balance sheet and cash-flow management.
*Ability to build consensus and relationships among managers, partners, and employees.
*Solid understanding of financial management.
*Addressing operational concerns and issues, monitoring overall customer satisfaction.
*Developing and implementing operational procedures and policies.
*Analyzing training needs/requirements.
*Excellent interpersonal communication and organizing skills to coordinate project activities.
*Ability to communicate with others effectively.
*Ability to conduct research for special projects, respond timely inquiries, and present written/ oral briefings.
*Ability to work with details and time-sensitive issues.
*Good decision-making skills and response to high-pressure situations.
