Respect for the Aged Day (敬老の日 Keirō no Hi) is a Japanese designated public holiday celebrated annually to honor elderly citizens.
This day, Japan honors their elders. Volunteers do free deliveries and sometimes schools organize keirokai ceremonies and invite their senior to enjoy.
The holiday not only highlights Japan's high life expectancy but also their culture of Love and Respect.
Much like ours!
When was the last time you said hello and hugged your lolo and lola?
Better yet celebrate the day and treat them for a dinner at Kaizen! 😍
